~ It can be embarrassing and humbling when the Holy Spirit has us self-reflect to something we’ve conducted or said in which we knew was wrong and went against God’s Word. This awareness can get someone on their knees real fast in humility and asking for forgiveness.
A great way to become rich within the Spirit of God, in prayer; ask God to help you review different time periods and instances of your life. Establishing ‘truth,’ can yield accountability, repentance, and a basis for the wisdom in how to handle the same situations more wisely if it were to happen again.
In prayer, someone can ask Jesus what He would have done in the same situation.
I can’t imagine the level of all of the misery I could have spared myself and others in life if I had would stopped to ‘think’ for just a few moments or for however long it took considering, “What would Jesus do?”
All would be lost and too late without the Holy Spirit for reproof and comfort, and the forgiveness, grace, and mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jesus said in John 16:7-11 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: For if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
