Life is hard enough without causing ourselves problems. One day, a person can suddenly ‘WAKE UP’ to the realization that all along they’ve been an assistant to Satan to destroy themselves. In this case, I’m not certain which is the worst feeling; the destruction that a person has caused themselves over the years, the years they were held in bondage, or the actual ‘realization’ itself, that they have been assisting Satan to destroy themselves.
If someone is living a life of sin without repentance, they have no justifiable complaint if they have problems from being in the grasp of Satan. Also, when God puts a person in a position to be a Christian leader to someone, and they do not shun, reprove, or protest a life of iniquity, they can create an opening for darkness to destroy both of their lives. This is similar to associating with someone while they have an airborne communicable disease. If we are in acceptance of evil and the association of evil, we are evil.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness.
Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Satan is a master manipulator. He can have a person in a fog, a trance, seemingly hypnotized where they’re being controlled straightway by demonic forces or by others having demonic forces. Some people have been in this state of existence for their entire lives. They think that misery, meddling, chaos, being controlled by people who do not allow them to be happy unless their happiness revolves around them, manipulations, negativity, self-destruction, gossip, drama, being riled up, anger, and other residual effects of Satan, are normal.
Romans 14:17 For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
The joy, peace, light, and love from our Lord Jesus Christ is something some people are not familiar with. Some adults who have been abused as a child or others who have had trauma in their life in various ways, can have some aspects of their emotional equivalency to be that of a small child. A person can stay in an almost state of shock at times for even decades from one experience, with the occurrence too much to bare to themselves. Satan has no mercy, and unfortunately some people also prey on this type of person for their own gratification and self-centered needs. A person can be trained by Satan himself or through other people to think that they are not allowed to be joyful. A controlling jealous self-centered person is pained to see someone they love have more happiness with someone else than them, so they try to control and destroy any signs of joy.
Life can be hard, and we can have letdowns. But God created happiness, laughter, and joy. All things are possible with God, and we can pray and ask God to fill us with His joy, peace, and love if we do not know of it.
If we’ve lived for decades around misery and negativity, we aren’t doing anyone any favors by going along with it, including ourselves. Sometimes it’s hard venturing into the unknown, even if the past was negativity and abuses.
Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart does good like medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.
Dare to be happy! There are different approaches to this. One method is something along the lines of quitting cigarettes. If you tell yourself you are going to quit smoking for the rest of your life, this can be daunting. Try happiness on for a year trial basis, and you can always go back to misery if you don’t like joy!
There can be very serious and difficult times in life, but all will come to pass unto great everlasting glory.
1st Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
If something merits a difficult dreary time of things, then that is the situation dictating it. However, if we are just looking to be miserable as a mainstay, or we have people in our lives who can’t stand for us to be happy unless our happiness revolves around them, then this is Satan controlling us and something to break free of. If you are one of these people, you do not have to live like this any longer. You are a child of God, the Almighty! God loves you more than you could ever dream of! God wants you to have joy! Talk to Him. Pray to God for help. God will help you. Ask God for Joy! God gives abundantly to His children.
1st Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
God obviously does not want us to be under demonic control, allowing people to control us. At times, we just have to stand up to people who love themselves more than they love us.
God thinks that you and all of His children are of great significance. God does not want you or anyone to be abused with the fruits of Satan. God gave us life. Then, when we sinned; and this is what God did to us for sinning…God showered us with more love, having His Son Jesus sacrifice Himself on the cross to give us everlasting life in paradise! This alone is worth being joyful for!
God loves You! God created you. God created happiness. Therefore, it’s more than okay to be happy!
Psalm 144:15 Happy is that person, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord.
